The Verion Image-Guided System is an advanced surgical planning, imaging and guidance technology designed to provide greater accuracy and efficiency during Cataract Surgery. With this technology, our surgeons are able to capture high-resolution, diagnostic reference images of the patient’s eyes and helps to determine an optimised surgical plan. This enables surgeons to implement the surgical plan using a tracking overlay and to see all incisions and alignments in real-time.

The most commonly applied procedure for the removal of cataracts is known as phacoemulsification (phaco).
